Minimum wage of BGN 1,077, wage growth of at least 10% in all budget areas and a more significant increase in income in education, healthcare and the Ministry of the Interior. This is what the KNSB proposes in the 2025 budget. In Burgas, the union leader Plamen Dimitrov stated that with a balanced budget, the proposed increase is possible, and if it is not achieved, mass protests are ahead in many sectors, reported by the BNR.
There will be no income freeze, said Plamen Dimitrov.
For the provision of additional revenues in the budget, with which to achieve a 3% deficit and to fill the hole of BGN 5.7 billion, which is emerging due to the insufficient revenues, the KNSB proposes the return of VAT in the restaurant industry and bread production, additional measures for banks, tax amnesty for companies that have overdue debts. They will be offered to pay the taxes without accrued interest.
And if a balanced approach to the budget is not achieved, there will be protests, said Plamen Dimitrov.
