Kiselova: GERB-SDS were fatally late, the mood in the National Assembly is for elections - 1

< strong>Mandate of GERB with prime minister candidate Mr. Borisov - is not acceptable for us. This was stated to NOVA News by the MP from “BSP– United Left” Assoc. Natalia Kiselova.

"We have sent an invitation to five parliamentary groups for a general meeting to build a majority not only for the chairman, but also for specific parliamentary activities in the 51st National Assembly. In fact, the invitation of GERB to PP-DB comes after the publication of this call of ours. Because they realize that the efforts made so far to elect a chairman can lead to a majority in which GERB will be isolated together with "DPS-New Beginning". Unfortunately, GERB-SDS were fatally late and there are already enough moods created in the National Assembly for early elections, which is not approved by us," she added.

In her words, "bridges are being burned, insults are being made and labels are being stuck from the rostrum in the National Assembly, which is unnecessary". "It does not suit the National Assembly to use such language. "The political language far exceeds what is permissible," Kiselova commented on what was happening in the parliament.

When asked how the "BSP-United Left" would vote, if the first two political forces reached an agreement on Atanas Atanasov to be a candidate for the speaker of the parliament, she answered: "First of all, I must say that every conversation about a speaker goes through efforts to achieve support. If we are not asked for support - we will not give it. And since it was mentioned that ITN held a meeting with representatives of our formation - it was on our initiative. The conversation was one-way and it was said that there was no alternative to the candidacy of ITN Silvi Kirilov. Understandably, each formation wants to present itself in the best way in the National Assembly. But when supporting a certain candidate, it should be clear what comes next. Namely, after the National Assembly is constituted, what is the direction it will take".

She also commented on the issue of choosing a prime minister. "I think that Boyko Borisov is unacceptable for prime minister from 2020. The protests started with such slogans. And in this sense, Mr. Borisov is either making a provocation or testing how far the parliamentary groups can be pressured. Our understanding is that a GERB mandate with a candidate for prime minister, Mr. Borisov, is not acceptable to us," Kiselova stressed.
