Borisov promised Radev: This week, everything possible will be done to convince the parties to have a regular cabinet - 1

The political ego turned out to be a very, very big problem in Bulgaria. We will do our best to convince colleagues of the possibility of making a regular cabinet. This is what GERB leader Boyko Borisov said during the consultations with President Rumen Radev, quoted by Nova TV.
I can assure you that looking at the international situation and what has to be decided inside the country, we need a regular government, Borisov also said.

„In the next parliamentary elections, you were once again granted the status of the first political power, for which I congratulate you. You have been charged with the greatest responsibility – to form a government. It is quite a challenging task to form a majority in a highly fragmented parliament. We saw it with the election of the chairman of the National Assembly. I am glad that the parliament is starting to work in substance. You contributed to this because you compromised. This allowed the consultations to begin. After them, I will hand you the first exploratory mandate," the head of state said. And asked the party representatives when they think it is best to get the first term.

I think this week will be for consultations. From Monday onwards we can go to the first term. If we don't get along this week, we won't get along next. We made a lot of compromises, let's see what steps the other parties would propose,”, Borisov believes.
Almost a month and a half after the early parliamentary elections, the head of state Rumen Radev convened consultations with the parliamentary forces. Until now, this constitutional procedure could not be triggered due to the absence of a Speaker of the Parliament. However, after the deputies elected Natalia Kiselova last week, they also formed their parliamentary groups.
