This is what President Rumen Radev asked at the beginning of the consultations with "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria", quoted by Dariknews.bg.
From "Continuing the Change" stated that they will sit down at the negotiating table with GERB-SDS only after they sign the so-called sanitary control. At the same time from "Democratic Bulgaria" are ready to talk, excluding only "Revival".
"What we see and the Bulgarian citizens have clearly said is that we need a regular government. For a government to be stable, it must be supported by a broad parliamentary majority. We see that in this parliament it is possible to have a pro-European and anti-corruption majority", said Nadezhda Yordanova from PP-DB. "We will work for the formula to have a government that is structured around pro-European priorities - Schengen, the Eurozone and anti-corruption priorities. When looking for such a majority, we must also imagine a cabinet that will realize them. With this fragmentation, we believe that only a non-party figure of a prime minister can fulfill this mission. We are ready to negotiate with all forces, except in "Vazrazhdane", stressed Yordanova.
We have proposed a clear measure of which parties are ready to move away from Peevski and which are not. We already have over 100 people's representatives whose parties have signed this sanitary cordon. The first political force shickles and does not sign this cordon, which means that they are not ready to take a step for judicial reform and to improve the electoral process. We will remain vigilant as to whether they might break away or whether they will continue to throw dust in the eyes of the people and lie in order not to achieve these reforms, commented Kiril Petkov. And he emphasized that they will not abandon the sanitary cordon against Peevski.
It is clear that the adoption of the budget is priority number 1. It is clear that the adoption of the laws on the recovery and development plan is also related to it. Those who block the adoption of laws also create financial problems. We have known for years that the justice system is not performing its functions, said Nikolay Denkov.
The head of state started the series of talks with the parties represented in the parliament, preceding the delivery of the first mandate to form a cabinet.
