Kiril Petkov: Cabinet negotiations distract attention - 1

Cabinet negotiations distract attention from important problems in the country. This was written on Facebook by the co-chairman of “We Continue the Change” Kiril Petkov.

“In politics, unfortunately, the biggest problems occur while you distract the public's attention with something completely different. At least that's what "professional politicians" do, not people like us. Now the public's attention is focused on the government negotiations. While this is happening, the selection of committees is being delayed so that the law on the judiciary cannot be passed. If the Legal Commission is not formed this week, the risk for the law on the judiciary becomes huge and Sarafov may pass on January 16, because between negotiations and holidays it may turn out that "there was no technical time".

After that, someone will propose a long track for the election of the Supreme Judicial Council, which will decide the issue "cardinal, not individual", and so Sarafov will remain the Prosecutor General between these tricks for the next 7 years. Let us all monitor what is happening with the Legal Commission – when will it work, which party will be its chairman and when will the law that can stop Sarafov be passed through it. It is time for the public not to fall for the experienced magicians, but to all together monitor and prioritize what is important for Bulgaria and how it is actually moving forward&rdquo, reads his post on the social network.

We recall that the coalition partners of the PP – “Democratic Bulgaria” has been holding talks with the first political force in the National Assembly for the second day - GERB-SDF. Representatives of “Continuing Change” were not invited to the meetings.
