The National Association of Grain Producers (NAG) expresses its strong indignation at the suggestions and manipulative comparisons published in the media in recent days regarding funds for IVF procedures aimed at agricultural producers. We believe that such provocations not only make sense of serious public issues, but also aim to divide society by pitting people against each other and creating artificial conflicts between different social groups, writes NAG.
The topics of supporting Bulgarian agriculture and the children of Bulgaria should not be used as political games and sensational headlines. Agriculture is a strategic sector for Bulgaria – the basis of our economic stability and livelihood of thousands of families.
The National Association of Grain Producers appeals to all institutions and political figures to focus on the real challenges facing each sector and each Bulgarian. The use of significant and sensitive topics for political or media purposes is irresponsible, harmful to the entire society and increasingly resembles a method that aims to shift the focus from important public topics that are currently on the agenda. The lack of state policy for several years is the cause of the systemic problems in various areas, not Bulgarian farmers.
We call, instead of sowing division, to join forces for real solutions and constructive dialogue. The National Association of Grain Producers has always been and will be open to discussions and transparency on topics important to society.
