Bulgaria needs a regular government with a full governing mandate to get out of the political and financial crisis it has been in for the past four years. The negotiating teams of GERB-SDF and “BSP - United Left” have united around this. Among the topics that unite the two coalitions is the formation of an anti-corruption majority with a pro-European character, GERB announced.
During the talks, the two sides reached an agreement that the new regular government must end the spiral of elections and guarantee the adoption of a balanced budget, the social security of the people and a calm investment environment in the country.
On the part of “BSP - United Left” The topic was raised by the need for the super-rich to contribute to reducing social inequality. GERB-SDF stressed that the main priority for the coalition remains Bulgaria's entry into the Eurozone.
The two coalitions will work on incorporating the discussed measures into an agreement that will form the basis of the legislative program of the National Assembly.
