"If today we do not give Glavchev a mandate to approve the agreement with Ukraine, whoever does not support it is a servant of Moscow", the chairman of “DPS-New Beginning“ Delyan Peevski told journalists on the sidelines of the parliament. He said this regarding the request of the caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev to receive a mandate from the National Assembly to sign the Agreement on Security Cooperation with Ukraine.
Peevski also stated that this agreement has been prepared for a long time and it does not matter whether it will be signed by a caretaker or a regular government, after yesterday Daniel Mitov, as well as earlier today the leader of GERB Boyko Borisov, argued that a regular cabinet should sign such long-term contracts.
„GERB's position is theirs. Now, in the vote, we will see who the Euro-Atlantic parties are. Whoever does not vote is in the "Moscow" coalition, he also said.
„We are obliged to defend it and „DPS-New Beginning“ will defend it. The caretaker Prime Minister has asked for support. The National Assembly, if it is a Euro-Atlantic National Assembly of a Euro-Atlantic Bulgaria, must give it a mandate“, Peevski also said.
He expects actions and specified that he wants to see what the PP-DB, which claims to be the “most Euro-Atlantic“ coalition, will do, as well as what the other political forces will do.
“Let's see if they are simply disguised and disguised servants, or if they will really stand their ground. I am waiting for their reaction to our proposal. After all, they like to say how the PP-DB is the most Euro-Atlantic or if they are just a party of thieves and poodles. This point must be a fact – I expect the speaker, if she is not from the “Moscow“ coalition, to include it“, said Delyan Peevski.
