A scandalous video with two midwives dancing the chalga with newborn babies in their arms has outraged people on social networks.
According to users who shared the clip, it was filmed in the neonatology department of the hospital in the city of Sliven.
The employees initially published the video on TikTok, but it was later deleted. However, users of the social network managed to take it down.
From the footage, it is clear that it was filmed as a birthday greeting to another lady. In addition to the lavish dancing, the midwives also sing.
"The scandalous video published on social networks is a precedent for us. It was made and uploaded without the knowledge of the head of the department and the senior nurse. I condemn and define the behavior of the two participants as unprofessional and unacceptable", says a statement by the head of the Neonatology Department, Dr. Tanya Pramatarova.
Giving birth to a child and thinking that they are taking care of it while you recover, is actually abusing your child. It's a pity for the children and a shame for the midwives, may the parents of the children condemn them and may they be severely punished for their behavior!!!, people on the Internet are outraged.
The hospital immediately began an immediate investigation.
One midwife has a terminated employment contract from December 29, 2024 for personal reasons. The other one who participated in the clip is a health assistant. She was appointed to the department a month ago. Due to her participation in the clip, she will be released on Monday, January 6, 2025. "In the Neonatology Department, it is an established practice that the care and treatment of newborns is carried out in accordance with the Internal Order Regulations, the Personal Data Protection Act and the relevant job descriptions. The Neonatology Department at the "Dr. Ivan Seliminski" Hospital is a department with tradition and authority," adds Dr. Pramatarova.
