Tonight it is raining in the northwestern regions, mainly snow - in the high fields of Western Bulgaria and the Fore-Balkans, BNT reported.
Temperatures will be almost without a daily change - the minimum will be between minus 1° and 4°, in Sofia - around minus 1°, and the maximum - between 1° and 6°, in Sofia - around 1°.
Snow will fall in the Fore-Balkans and the high fields of Western Bulgaria, as well as in Ludogorie and Dobrudzha, where it will rain and snow. Rain will fall mainly in the eastern regions and the Upper Thracian Lowland. There will be moderate winds in the Danube Plain and a temporarily strong wind from the west-northwest, and in the eastern regions - to moderate winds from the north-northwest.
It will also be cloudy in the mountains with snowfall, mainly in the Balkan Mountains and in the massifs of Western Bulgaria, and in the Rhodope Mountains the precipitation will be both rain and snow. It will be windy, with moderate winds, and strong westerly winds in the higher parts.
Over the next few days it will remain cloudy, and the cold will continue. After a temporary weakening, on Sunday the precipitation from the southwest will intensify again and will cover the whole of Southern Bulgaria, the Balkan Mountains and the Fore-Balkan Mountains. It will be mainly snow and will continue on Monday. It will be significant in quantity in the extreme southern regions, where, however, the precipitation will be rain.
