Politicians have some deficits in their financial knowledge. That's why it's better to listen to professionals, not politicians themselves. They showed their deficits over time: by inflating many of the budget expenditures and their inability to carry out the so-called fiscal consolidation in the state budget. It's good to be realistic. He stated this in the show “120 Minutes“ Lyubomir Karimanski, member of the BNB Governing Council, quoted by novini.bg.

„Over time, inflation caused prices to rise to a base that was in 2022. But this does not mean that prices have been growing at the same rate for the last year. We must be as precise as possible when calculating the average annual inflation“, he specified.
According to him, Bulgaria is price-stable.

„There is still much to be desired, of course. But here we must note a very clear fact. Price stability depends on both different economic processes and political risk and political crisis. Political risk is related to systemic risk. It affects every sector. And when imbalances appear in every sector, they must be overcome in some way“, Karimanski also said.
