A report of a minor boy who fainted on the sidewalk next to the High School Dormitory in Razgrad was received at around 07:50 on February 3.
During the operational-search actions taken, it was established that the 16-year-old teenager from the village of Zlatoklas, Dulovo municipality, had used a substance from an electronic cigarette with undetermined content, the press center of the regional police said.
The vape was subsequently found in his dormitory room. The boy is admitted to the Razgrad General Hospital.
Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated in the case.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Directorate of Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking took down two of the most visited websites for selling vapes and cannabinoid-based substances from the Internet.
Only one of them had over 100 orders per day. It is not clear how many vapes and substances prohibited by law were purchased from the Internet portals.
And yesterday it became clear that President Rumen Radev is convening a meeting of the National Security Advisory Council. It will be held on February 18, Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m.
The topic is “Risks and threats to national security arising from the spread of narcotic and intoxicating substances among the younger generation and their abuse".
