I never imagined that my persona could focus so much public attention. The lowest Balkan mentalities manifested themselves because of a conjuncture. A mass of vultures jumped in. They now see blood and when they see blood - they are furious and they continue in this expansion.

This was stated to BNT by the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of BDB and former Minister Rosen Karadimov, who is also nominated for Chairman of the Commission for Protection of Competition.

"I want to ask these Lilliputians, who are extremely brave in their stories, do they know what it meant in those years to close the Komsomol in 1990, which was an empire with all the power that the Bulgarian Communist Party had in the country. I would ask them if they had the courage to do this?".

He said that at the age of 26 he became a deputy in the National Assembly and signed the Constitution of Bulgaria. He stated that he was proud of this. In his words, "and unlike those critics who crippled this Constitution, do you know who was with me?". He called for their names to be compared with the names of Kiril Petkov, Georgi Svilenski and Kornelia Ninova.

"There were Valeri Petrov, Yordan Radichkov, Kiril Marichkov, Todor Kolev, Neshka Robeva, Vasil Mihaylov. This was the substrate of the Supreme National Assembly and I will be proud for the rest of my life that I was the youngest representative there".

Those who have been criticizing me for a whole week have crippled this Constitution, Karadimov said. And do you know how - he asked and answered himself.

"Drinking greasy Turkish coffees, lying on someone's lap and Kiril Petkov's chats with Peevski".

He stated that the Triple Coalition's governance was one of the most successful and recalled its composition. He asked if anyone knew "who Peevski was in 2009". He added that President Rumen Radev "had nothing to do with his appointment to the BDB".

"In two years, I dare say, I have turned the image and functionality of the Bulgarian Development Bank upside down. From a pawnshop, which Kiril Petkov had turned it into, the bank has become the most powerful market instrument of the state".

What did Kiril Petkov do as acting minister of this bank, he asked and said "on the day he took office, he appointed the new board of the bank before they were entered in the Commercial Register. They were in such a hurry".

He stated that a contract had been signed with Lena Borislavova for 14,000 leva per month, in which "there was nothing". And he added that he had "made the bank the most transparent institution". In his role as caretaker minister, Rosen Karadimov said that he had raised the role of reindustrialization as a key criterion for the development of Bulgaria. He defined the policy of Kiril Petkov and his "company" as "millions for their oligarchs in failed projects".

Rosen Karadimov said that he had received public support for his nomination.

"When Lilliputians call me a ladybug, that I am an appointment, that I am someone's man, let them at least try to list the names of those who supported me".

If Kiril Petkov manages to "list them - I will withdraw my candidacy", he said.
