"The idea of the rules for the activities of the National Assembly is that there should not be very small parliamentary groups and if someone leaves, they should not be able to go to another group. The meaning of these provisions is that upon leaving and exclusion - then the existence of a parliamentary group should be terminated. This is not the case. The correct action is for the National Assembly to interpret the rules and possibly change them." This was explained by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of Sofia University, Prof. Daniel Valchev, in "Wake Up" on Nova TV.
He emphasized that the National Assembly has the right to return the SWORD to the SWORD as early as next week, because this is not an act of the Speaker of the Parliament, but an act arising from the rules. He also rejects any malicious intent on the part of Natalia Kiselova.
"We are returning to the years when your political opponent is not just an opponent, but a scoundrel. And because he is a scoundrel, you have to shove his head in the toilet and flush it. This will not lead to anything good", Valchev colorfully illustrates the situation.
Regarding the government and the majority, he noted that it is always good to have a parliamentaryly responsible government, but it is not bad for governments to clearly declare their support. "We see that there is a more complex majority here than what is being made official. Obviously, GERB is dependent on the support of "DPS - New Beginning" this support. Shy denial doesn't fool anyone," said the dean.
He is categorical about the budget: "All our children are 15,000 leva in debt."
Regarding access to medicines in small towns, he explained that vending machines are not a solution because elderly people don't need vitamin C, but specialized medicines. "Many things can be done, but it's a matter of fine-tuning - mobile pharmacies, branches, online", concluded Prof. Valchev.
