I fully support the protests against the killing of animals, I fully support changes in the law that provide for stricter punishments for the killing of animals. This was written on Facebook by the leader of "Ima takvi narod" Slavi Trifonov.
Earlier this month, two people - a 26-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man - were brought in as defendants by the District Prosecutor's Office - Pernik for causing the death of animals for the purpose of obtaining property gain. Searches were carried out at addresses in several settlements, including the capital and Pernik. A computer, phone and other items that were used to commit the crimes were seized from there.
"Like you, I have a hard time assimilating what this girl and her boyfriend from Pernik did," commented Trifonov.

I have a dog. A Thai Ridgeback. His name is Bruno. And every night when I come home I tell him: “Bruno, you are the greatest dog in the world!”. I am absolutely serious and I am not joking! There were two dogs - there was also a female. She passed away 5 months ago and losing her to me was like losing a kind, loving, devoted and wonderful friend. I think about her every day. I assume that all of you who read this and have such friends understand me perfectly.
Like you, I also have a hard time assimilating what this girl from Pernik and her boyfriend did. God, how much I love this city of Pernik. I am convinced that neither Pernik nor any other Bulgarian city or village deserves to have such freaks born on their territory.
