Gutsanov: It is normal for any party in opposition to ask for a vote of no confidence, but it must be justified - 1

It is normal for any party in opposition to ask for a vote of no confidence and it is quite natural under the Constitution for them to make such a request. Although at this stage I do not see why they would ask for this vote of no confidence in view of the difficult situation in which this complex cabinet took over the government of the state, and this was indeed the possible budget. This was stated by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov to journalists in Razgrad regarding the request of "Vazrazhdane" that the party will submit a vote of no confidence in the government due to the country's foreign policy.

„You know that we had minus 18 billion in the financial system of the state and we had to get out of this situation in which we found the government as quickly as possible. But ultimately this is the job of the opposition. It is normal for them to want such actions“, commented the minister.

According to him, their actions are completely legal and normal, and the parliamentary rostrum demands them from them as the opposition. According to Minister Gutsanov, however, what they are doing must be justified, and not just a vote of no confidence for the sake of the vote of no confidence itself.

When asked whether the now disbanded parliamentary group of the "Morals, Unity, Honor“ (MECH) will affect the government, Minister Borislav Gutsanov pointed out that there is a complex government and, in his words, each of the parties takes on its political responsibility. “I have thanked more than once or twice that everyone found the strength to overcome their own ego to become this government. Because it is still better to have a regular cabinet than the next ones, which we can hardly even count, which elections are in a little more than three years. I hope that we will continue in this way, with mutual compromises and concessions to govern the country“, said Gutsanov. He added that regarding what is happening in the National Assembly, it is better for one of the members of parliament who is in the hall to give an answer.

The Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov was in Razgrad to participate in the ceremony announcing the start of the renovation of the Home for the Elderly in the city.
