The children of the Bulgarian killed in Gaza, Marin Marinov, must find out who killed their father. They have rights that must be protected by the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was commented on by the international analyst Prof. Vladimir Chukov in the program “The Day Live” on NOVA NEWS.
At a press conference, the UN announced that a shell from an Israeli tank killed the Bulgarian. The Bulgarian Embassy of Israel in our country reacted sharply and called the claim “another slander”.
“Relations between the UN and Israel were bad even before the case with our murdered compatriot”, emphasized Prof. Chukov.
He also commented on the meeting between representatives of the US and Ukraine in Riyadh. “Until there is an official position from both sides, we cannot say anything”, added Prof. Chukov.
Regarding the protests in Turkey after the arrest of the mayor of Istanbul, the international analyst explained that it is Ekrem Imamoglu who probably has the greatest chance of dethroning Recep Tayyip Erdogan from the presidency. “Imamoglu brings together the two very serious electoral blocs - the opposition and secular Ataturk Republican People's Party and the Kurds. Thanks to the Kurds, he won the mayoral post in Istanbul three times. Istanbul is not Turkey, but the Kurds support Imamoglu even in their own districts”, pointed out Prof. Chukov.
The international analyst added that the European Union and many leaders of member states support Imamoglu and condemn his detention.
