The newly elected constitutional judge Orlin Kolev will take the oath today at the Constitutional Court. A week ago, he was elected constitutional judge with 127 votes "for", 104 "against" and two "abstains".

Kolev received support for the post from GERB - UDF, "BSP - United Left" and ITN, but did not receive the votes of MRF - MRF. The deputies from "DPS - New Beginning" voted for him.
In the race to fill the parliamentary quota in the Constitutional Court, Orlin Kolev was preferred over the PP-DB candidate Yonko Grozev, who received support from only 38 deputies. Orlin Kolev will take the place of Konstantin Penchev.
