An elderly driver caused an accident near Vratsa, which passed without casualties. According to data from the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on Thursday at around 9.40 on the secondary road between Vratsa and Oryahovo, at the junction for the village of Mramoren, which is located about 15 km from the regional town.
Two cars collided. Behind the wheel of one of them was a 71-year-old resident of Vratsa, who did not keep a distance to the other vehicle, also driven by an elderly driver, BNR specified.
There were no casualties in the traffic accident, but three were injured – two women, aged 69 and 53, and a young man, aged 21. They were transported by ambulance to Vratsa, where after an examination it was determined that they could be treated at home.
Both drivers were tested for alcohol and drugs, and their samples were negative. The driver who caused the accident was issued a ticket.
