"Vazrazhdane" begins talks about a new vote of no confidence.
"Every opposition party has a certain political toolkit that it can and should use. The vote of no confidence is one of the most striking tools when it needs to show Bulgarian society who supports the policies of the ruling majority and who is in opposition. There is no middle ground in this political struggle," commented MP from "Vazrazhdane" Iskra Mihaylova on the show "Denyat ON AIR".
According to her, after the adoption of Budget 2025, Bulgarian citizens are already aware of whether they are satisfied or not with the movements of the new ruling majority.
"The vote of no confidence that we commented on today also has a direct connection with the budget, as well as almost everything that we will put forward from now on. I will examine it in two lines. The first is in relation to the political majorities that are being formed. The second - why exactly foreign policy. The new ruling majority supports the line that our country is currently moving along in its foreign policy relations, given that the entire geopolitical situation has changed, that there is talk of peace between Russia and Ukraine. Bulgaria still remains on the side of the war," Mihaylova told Bulgaria ON AIR.
People must have access to highly specialized treatment, she emphasized: "We are giving 300 million for Ukraine, but we cannot give 5 million for one center. The budget does not open the possibility of building, for example, 23 stroke centers".
They are submitting a vote of no confidence next week
Mikhailova announced that the prepared new vote of no confidence will probably be submitted next week.
"From tomorrow we are starting negotiations with the other parties that call themselves opposition. We accept the remarks we received - for example from "Continuing Change - Democratic Bulgaria", which today had the courage to come out and say that they continue to help the government, but if we talk about corruption, they will not support it", the MP specified.
Currently, every institution, directorate and state-owned enterprise is being controlled, Mihaylova emphasized.
"In every enterprise, the management bodies are changing - directors, deputy directors, heads of departments. These people are not random. We must want this government to fall as soon as possible. Every vote against the vote of no confidence means support for the current government. We will talk to everyone who has declared themselves as an opposition," she is categorical.
