After the emergency meeting in the Council of Ministers, it became clear that the government is preparing 37 measures to increase road safety. At a regular meeting today, it will consider them. What they envisage was explained in “Hello, Bulgaria” Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport Grozdan Karadjov.
“You have never seen measures with deadlines and responsible ministers before”, he emphasized. Karadjov showed a table in which, against each of the 37 measures, it is indicated which minister is responsible for it, what resources he will need and what the deadline is. According to him, one of the expected changes in the law is that recordings from cameras of municipalities and the toll system will be admitted as evidence in court.
