The child who suffered in an accident last night in Karlovo remains in serious condition in a Plovdiv hospital, Nova TV reports. The 14-year-old boy fell from an electric scooter on a pedestrian street.
The child is in danger of life, with a head injury. He has been admitted to the Plovdiv "St. George" hospital and doctors are fighting for his life. According to eyewitnesses, he was without a helmet and was moving at high speed when he slipped and fell, hitting his head on the asphalt.
The accident occurred on "Vodopad" street near the tourist area. The Municipality of Karlovo is planning to amend the Municipal Ordinance for the Protection of Public Order and ban the use of electric scooters on several pedestrian streets in the city.
