"It would be a great pity if the only Bulgarian F-16 for now cannot fly due to some problem, be it at the production stage".
This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by analyst Ivo Indjov. He is categorical that from now on the experts should have the floor.
"If there really is a problem with the F-16 and the president knows about it, it should be a little more precise and factually based", Indjov believes.
According to him, Bulgaria should not start new political battles on this terrain either. It is much more important to see the overall state of the Bulgarian armed forces, he was categorical and added:
"The very fact that there is too much speculation about the state of the only F-16 is indicative of the state of these armed forces. We have a parade with only 3 helicopters".
According to him, it is obvious that the confrontation between the president and the ruling majority is deepening. According to him, attempts are being made to purge the personnel appointed by Rumen Radev, and suspicion falls on Delyan Peevski. He is the informal partner in the ruling majority, which makes the existence of "assembly 2" possible after Dogan's withdrawal from it, Ivo Indjov expressed his opinion in the program "Before Everyone".
"President Rumen Radev has criticized the merging of power and business interests, elements of the conquered state, the formation of a party-state since the time when Boyko Borisov was prime minister. We remember that with a raised fist he symbolized the demands of the protesters back in 2020, demanding the resignation of Borisov and Geshev. But then, over time, President Radev had much more sophisticated rhetoric. And now, when there are all kinds of conditions and prerequisites for criticizing the current government, which is illogical in my opinion - I would talk about a new assembly, Radev is speaking out on a developed terrain. But in order to become a spokesperson, to become a standard-bearer of the fight against oligarchy and corruption, he must have a much clearer expression, speak much more precisely and factually, and in order to be successful, he must have some kind of political project," the analyst was categorical.
