Head of State Rumen Radev signed a decree dismissing Krum Zarkov as his secretary for legal affairs, the presidency reported, quoted by Nova TV. Zarkov filed a petition earlier today to be dismissed from this post.
Krum Zarkov announced on Friday that he would resign. “On Monday, I will file a petition to be dismissed from the position of secretary to the president for legal affairs. The reason is the proposal to hold a referendum on a constitutionally inadmissible issue, which I cannot agree with, or support,”, Zarkov wrote on Facebook, minutes after President Rumen Radev requested a referendum on the introduction of the euro in Bulgaria.
