Deputies will vote on the composition of the Commission for the Protection of Competition  - 1

The first item, according to the deputies' program for today, is the election of the chairman, deputy chairman and members of the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC), reports BTA.

The candidates to head the antimonopoly agency are Rosen Karadimov and Ivan Stoynev. Karadimov is the nomination of the parliamentary group of "BSP-United Left", and Stoynev - of "We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria".

During his hearing in the economic committee, Karadimov emphasized the preventive function of the CPC, noting that for this purpose, the critical sectors of the economy and the relevant markets from the point of view of inflation potential must be clearly identified.

Ivan Stoynev pointed out that the main emphasis of his concept is to transform the CPC into a modern, strong and proactive body that can respond to the challenges of the time.

The GERB-SDF coalition proposes Radomir Cholakov for deputy chairman and member. Valeria Genova, Miroslava Hristova, Emilia Koleva and Yulian Voinov are nominations of the group for members of the antimonopoly committee.

Dimitar Danailov was nominated by the coalition "There is such a people" for a member of the regulator.

Zhelyu Boychev has been proposed for a member of the CPC by the BSP-United Left Party.

Chetin Kazak has been proposed for a member of the Commission by the Democracy, Rights and Freedoms Party-DPS.

A regular parliamentary control is also planned for today, in which ministers Daniel Mitov, Georg Georgiev, Ivan Ivanov, Borislav Gutsanov, Georgi Georgiev, Krasimir Valchev, Silvi Kirilov, Zhecho Stankov, Miroslav Borshosh and Ivan Peshev are expected to answer questions from deputies.
