A draft Decision on a proposal to the National Assembly to ratify an agreement to improve navigation on the Danube River is to be considered by the Council of Ministers at its regular government meeting at 10:00 a.m., the press service of the cabinet announced.
The agreement is between the Executive Agency "Research and Maintenance of the Danube River" and the River Administration for the Lower Danube - Galati, Romania for joint awarding of public procurement under the Project: "Improving navigation conditions in the common Bulgarian-Romanian section of the river. Danube - FAST Danube 2”, signed on April 24, 2025 in Sofia by the Executive Director of the Executive Agency “Danube River Research and Maintenance”, Republic of Bulgaria, and the General Manager of the River Administration for the Lower Danube - Galati, Romania.
The Cabinet is expected to consider a report on the activities of the State Financial Inspection Agency for 2024.
Also on the agenda is a draft Decision of the Council of Ministers on determining the values used to calculate the revenue ceiling for the respective type of electricity producer.
The Ministers will also consider three draft amendments to the Criminal Code.
The Cabinet will also discuss the recognition of the association “Union of the Blind in Bulgaria” and the association "Union of War Disabled and War Victims in Bulgaria" for national representative organizations.
