The detained manager of the illegal hospice in the village of Govedartsi has been released without charge for now, NOVA reported.
However, an investigation into the case for defamation is ongoing. It is under the supervision of the Samokov District Prosecutor's Office.
The man was detained after a raid by the authorities. It was established on site that the nursing home in Govedartsi had operated without a license. According to the Criminal Code, criminal liability cannot be held for this.
All 23 residents were taken out and accommodated in other places, including the Samokov hospital.
