"I count on the fact that free people will change Bulgaria for the better. The big risk is that the pro-Putin forces will again elect the president of Bulgaria. This will be an extremely heavy blow to political life and debate in our country", Ivan Kostov warned of an imminent risk in his opinion.
"You see how actively President Radev is setting a false tone for the political debate in Bulgaria. But this is what society follows. The presidential rostrum is so high that it allows for a strong influence on public opinion. If there is such a president like Radev again, this will be extremely serious damage to the political orientation of the entire country," Kostov is worried.
"The election of a presidential candidate is loaded with such expectations. "It's not about creating a profile of the candidate, but a major political process that saturates a candidacy and campaign with political density, promising very concrete and tangible things," the former prime minister also commented.
