A 22-year-old girl fell from the terrace of a hotel in Sunny Beach under mysterious circumstances. The incident occurred on Saturday night, when the girl and her boyfriend, 23, returned to the "Golden Hermes" complex in the resort after a heavy drinking binge, reported "Telegraph".
The boy explained to investigators that when they returned to the hotel room on the 4th floor, he went into the bathroom to take a shower.
When he came out, he saw that his girlfriend was missing and started looking for her. He looked through the balcony and saw her lifeless body lying on the lawn near the pool.
He immediately went down to her, at that time the girl was still alive. He called the reception and informed the police about what had happened.
It was established that the 22-year-old girl had fallen from the 4th floor, she had fallen from a height of over 10 meters, but the grassy areas had softened the blow a little and she did not die immediately. She was rushed to hospital, but the doctors were unable to fight for her life. The girl died from her wounds.
The autopsy showed that the victim had drunk an extremely large amount of alcohol.
Her boyfriend was taken for questioning. He was not detained. There was no evidence of violence, according to initial information.
Both the deceased girl and her boyfriend are Swedish citizens.
