The organization of traffic is changing in connection with the holding of a Guns N' Roses concert at the "Vasil Levski" National Stadium, the press center of the Sofia Municipality announced. Additional public transport will be provided, the Municipality also said.
From 22:00 on July 21 to 00:30 on July 22, some public transport lines will be organized with reduced intervals. Tram lines No. 10; No. 12; No. 15 and No. 18 will be running. Bus lines No. 72; No. 76; No. 204; No. 213; No. 280; No. 604; №94 and №204.
The metro lines will also operate with reduced intervals, respectively: Metro Station (MS) „Slivnitsa“ – MS „Mladost 1“– 6 minutes; MS „Mladost 1“– MS „Business Park“ - MS „Sofia Airport“ - 12 minutes; MS „Obelya“ - MS „Vitosha“– 10 minutes; MS „Hadzhi Dimitar“ – MS „Gorna Banya“ – 12 minutes.
If necessary and at the discretion of the „Traffic Police“ at the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs, the entry of vehicles on Blvd. „Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi“ in the section from Blvd. „Dragan Tsankov“ to Sq. „Orlov Most“:
From 8:00 p.m. on July 20 to 12:00 p.m. on July 21, parking is prohibited in the parking lots on the bridge in front of the National Stadium „Vasil Levski“, on Blvd. „Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi“.
From 3:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. on July 21, parking and standing of vehicles outside the paid parking areas on Blvd. „General Gurko“ in the section between Blvd. „Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi“ and „Lyuben Karavelov“ Str.
BTA recalls that from 8:00 on July 18 to 8:00 on July 24, parking and standing of vehicles is prohibited on the pockets of „Evlogi i Hristo Georgievi“ Blvd. - opposite the fifth entrance (the barrier).
The concert of the band Guns N’ Roses will be at the „Vasil Levski“ stadium. The date in Sofia is part of the band's tour in Europe and the Middle East. The tour started on May 23 and includes 24 dates. Guns N’ Roses will play for the first time in Saudi Arabia, Georgia, Lithuania and Luxembourg. In 2025 Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan will also play in Serbia, Turkey, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Czech Republic, Germany, Great Britain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Hungary and Austria.
