“The Drama of Bifurcation“ based on Peyo Yavorov's poem “Two Souls“ was the topic for an interpretive essay in the last 41 questions of today's matriculation exam in Bulgarian language and literature. Those who chose the essay wrote on the topic “The Power of Forgiveness“.
5763 matriculation students appeared for the matriculation exam, which was held in nearly 260 schools in the country.
The test, which was generated early in the morning at the Ministry of Education, consists of 22 multiple-choice questions, 16 short-answer questions and two extended-answer questions. For 41 tasks, option 11 was downloaded.
The Matriculation exam tests knowledge and skills in grammar, spelling, vocabulary, ability to create text, and extract information. This session is for young people who have not taken previous exams or who already have a high school diploma but want to change their grade in order to apply to university.
The maximum number of points for the exam is 100. The results will be announced by September 5.
The Ministry of Education and Science has received information about 7 canceled papers.
The second mandatory exam will be held on Monday in subjects of the student's choice, as well as by profession.
