In the third quarter of last year, housing prices in Bulgaria reported significant growth, according to the latest data from Eurostat. From there, they calculate that from 2010 to the third quarter of 2024, the appreciation of this real estate asset is 110%. Average prices of housing on the secondary market vary between 2300 and 2500 EUR, according to data from the Bulgarian Properties agency.

The effect of "entering the eurozone" according to some intermediaries has run out and will not affect housing prices, but others are of the opposite opinion.

On average, housing prices in the member states of the European Union increased by 3.8% in the third quarter of last year compared to the same period in 2023. Compared to the second quarter, the increase is within 1.4%. The conclusion from the results is that the housing market in Europe is experiencing stable growth, despite some regional differences.

Looking at the price dynamics by country for the period from 2010 to now, in countries such as Hungary and Estonia the increase is 230%. Apartments in Latvia, the Czech Republic, Austria, Lithuania and Portugal are now twice as expensive. Only in Italy a decrease of about 4% is reported.
