Technically sound ATV, but driven under the influence of drugs: New revelations about the tragedy in Sunny Beach - 1

Sunny Beach has once again become an arena of public discontent and anxiety after 18-year-old Nikola Burgazliev caused a serious accident, sweeping away five pedestrians with an ATV. The latest expert analyses, announced by the National Investigation Service, reveal key details about the accident that shook all of Bulgaria.

The ATV – completely sound, but driven recklessly

The auto-technical expertise, carried out in a specialized service, categorically confirms: the vehicle was in perfect technical condition. The brakes, steering wheel and pedals functioned flawlessly, and the only damage to the machine was the result of the collision itself.

The dynamic analysis of the movement shows a sharp acceleration – from 18 to 30 km/h at the time of impact, which, according to experts, excludes any technical malfunction and draws attention to the actions of the driver.

Drugs in the driver's blood - fatal factor

The official results of Burgazliev's second blood sample are categorical: traces of narcotics taken between 36 and 48 hours before the tragedy were found in his body.

Investigators emphasize that all procedures for taking and storing the samples were strictly followed, eliminating any doubts about the reliability of the results.

Severe consequences for innocent victims

The tragedy unfolded in front of dozens of witnesses when the ATV driven by the young man crashed into a group of pedestrians. The most severely injured were Hristina and her 4-year-old son Marty.

Unfortunately, the woman lost her life, and the child survived with severe injuries that will mark his life forever.

The investigation is progressing - charges are expected

The spokesperson for the National Investigation Service Marian Marinov stated on the air of “Face to Face“ that all expert examinations have been completed and investigators are already working on formulating charges against Nikola Burgazliev. “There is no evidence of arbitrary behavior of the machine.

Everything was under the control of the driver, who acted incorrectly from a technical point of view“, emphasized Marinov.

The tragedy raises questions about the responsibility of young drivers

This horrific incident once again highlights the need for stricter control over drug use among drivers and the need for enhanced road safety measures in Bulgaria. Society is demanding stricter sanctions and prevention so that such tragedies do not happen again.

The case of the deadly ATV in Sunny Beach is yet another alarming signal about the dangers of irresponsible driving under the influence of drugs. As the investigation progresses, society expects justice and more effective measures to protect lives on Bulgarian roads.
