The main accused for the murder in Tsalapitsa, Rangel Bizyurev, can appeal the measure by which he was detained, NOVA reported.
The case is scheduled for today before noon in the Court of Appeal in Plovdiv, but Bizyurev waived his right and preferred to remain behind bars. This was announced by his new lawyer Delcho Jubeliev.
Last week, the man wanted for eight months was extradited to our country by flight from Munich, and the District Court in Plovdiv imposed a measure of “detention in custody”. He has been charged with premeditated murder in a particularly cruel manner, which carries a life sentence.
