This is what Gabriela Slavova, accused of murdering her husband Peyo Peev, told BNT after the DNA analysis showed that Veliko Minkov is the father of her little child Christian.
Two days ago, the Sofia Court of Appeal released her under house arrest.
Even before the DNA analysis was ready, Veliko Minkov was convinced that he was the father of Gabriela's baby. The little one was a complete copy of him.
Until now, Gabriela denied that the child was Veliko's, and in the birth certificate, the murdered Peyo Peev was listed as the father, since the two married a week before the birth. However, Veliko Minkov has been conducting a paternity case in the Burgas court since September 2023, with the next hearing scheduled for May 14. He urges Gabriella to admit the claim.
"If she does this in the coming days until the 14th, she will show that she puts the child first," said Veliko Minkov, father of Gabriela's young child.
Gabriela's children are with Peyo's family. His sister takes care of them. She is also unhappy and worried about Gabriela being under house arrest. According to her, this could be the first step towards returning the children to the mother, which would not be in their best interest.
"In time, she neglected them, for which more and more evidence is coming out. The child, who I have been with for the last 3 months, constantly says that he is left alone and has an extremely great fear of not being left, he says that he is left alone with the little baby", said Milena Yordanova, sister of the murdered Peyo Peev.
Veliko and Peyo's family grew closer after the brutal murder. He regularly sees his son and guarantees that even if paternity is confirmed by the court, he will not separate the two children.
