The District Court in Veliko Tarnovo left the 21-year-old incapacitated and drugged in custody a driver who on May 28 escaped from a police check and after a chase caused an accident with three cars under the "Tsarevets" fortress; in the city, BNT reported.
Denislav Slavchev entered the courtroom wearing a hood. The young man from the hunting village of Katunets and his lawyer did not want to talk to journalists. After less than an hour, Judge Daniel Yordanov from the Veliko Tarnovo District Court returned the young man to custody, as there is a danger that he will abscond:
"The crimes themselves are not serious, but the way they were carried out, all his activities, there will most likely be new charges against these two, which are, there is preparation of expertise. His procedural behavior is good. He pleads guilty and wishes to enter into an agreement with the prosecution."
