The District Prosecutor's Office in Veliko Tarnovo charged the 17-year-old who caused the accident in which two brothers died on the road Sofia-Varna, NOVA reported.
The student does not have a driver's license, and the car belonged to his parents.
The accident happened on the Sofia-Varna road near the village of Kesarevo. The serious accident took the lives of a taxi driver and his brother. And the 17-year-old boy is in hospital, with broken legs, under police guard. Auto technical expertise will prove at what speed his car was moving.
„In the event that sufficient evidence is gathered that the car was knowingly provided by his parents, as they both co-own a car, the possibility of charging each of them as abettors will be discussed. i.e. as persons who provided the motor vehicle with which a crime was committed. The perpetrator's punishment is up to five years of imprisonment,” said supervising prosecutor Daniela Kharitonova.
