A barmaid from Razgrad was one of the fictitiously appointed in the theater, whose boss is the conductor Levon Manukyan. She participated in the scheme and received compensation in the amount of BGN 30,700. within three days only. When this was established, the prosecutor's office questioned her.
The woman admitted to participating in the scheme and returned BGN 30,000. of the money received, having spent only BGN 700, announced the deputy district prosecutor and supervising prosecutor in the case against those involved in the scheme, Galin Gavrailov, quoted by "Maritsa".
The prosecutor said that the District Court left Petko Piskov in custody. The evidence shows that the owner of the accounting firm, who worked with the theaters in Razgrad and Smolyan, was a major part of the elaborate scheme. His company is registered in Smolyan, and he had access to the information about the fictitious contracts being implemented.
During the interrogation, Manukyan himself explained that Piskov was imposed on him by a ministry official. A meeting was held between the conductor, the owner of the company and an employee of the ministry in a hotel in Sofia. It remains to be seen whether this is the case and what, if any, was discussed.
The detention measures imposed on Atanas Georgiev and Petko Piskov can be appealed. In case of complaints, the measures will be reviewed by the appellate magistrates on October 8.
