The twins Borislav and Valentin Dinkovi received 3 years of imprisonment under an initial general regime.
The two were charged with concealment in the case of the murder of 24-year-old Dimitar from Tsalapitsa. Each of them also owes BGN 3,253.30 for expenses related to the expertise of the pre-trial proceedings and the appearance of experts in the case.
The verdict is subject to appeal within 14 days.

From each of the punishments imposed on the brothers, the time spent in custody will be deducted, which is one year and three months, the District Court in Plovdiv decided.
"For me, this sentence is a mockery. Mitko, will he return after 3 years? One sorry will bring it back? They did not realize what they had done at all.
Three years worth a human life. This is not a normal sentence, they are accomplices to murder! I hope that the record will be cleared and that the sentence will be changed at the next instance. They should be charged with complicity in premeditated murder," Mitko's mother Atanaska Bakalova said after hearing the verdict.
