The court decides finally whether to let Stefan Dimitrov, involved in the affair with the "Customs" agency, is in custody, NOVA reported.
According to the prosecutor's office, together with his father Marin Dimitrov, the former head of the Agency Petya Bankova, the former chief secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zhivko Kotsev and the suspected smuggler Nikola Nikolov - Pascal, he participated in a scheme for smuggling, influence peddling and money laundering money.
In their reasons for keeping him in custody, the judges considered that he could commit a new crime or influence witnesses if he was free. Petya Bankova was released on BGN 10,000 bail due to her deteriorating health. Zhivko Kotsev is also free for BGN 20,000, and Nikolov is waiting in Serbia for extradition.
