The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment in court against actor Dimo Aleksiev, who drove after drinking alcohol in Sofia, after he had already been convicted of an identical crime.
The 42-year-old actor and TV presenter was caught on November 12, 2024 at around 00.20 driving a car on Nikola Mushanov Blvd. in Sofia with a blood alcohol concentration of over 0.5 per thousand, namely 1.68 per thousand, established by chemical analysis.
The prosecutor's office recalls that the accused committed the act after being convicted of an identical crime. At the end of November, the City Court imposed a preventive measure on Aleksiev "detention in custody". According to the court, there is no danger that Aleksiev will flee, but there is a prerequisite for the danger of committing a crime.
The case against Aleksiev is about to begin in the Sofia District Court.
