A 23-year-old woman was detained and accused of robbing a minor girl in Sofia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced. The investigation began on June 23, after the First Police Department received a signal from the 16-year-old girl's father.
He said that on the same date at around 10:20 p.m. in the area of the "Geo Milev" district, his daughter was attacked by a woman who, after pointing a gun at the girl's body, took her mobile phone and a small amount of money.
The perpetrator of the act was detained within hours. During a search of the 23-year-old woman, some of the stolen items and a gas gun were found, and the child's phone was found in a pawnshop. The Sofia District Prosecutor's Office has charged the detainee. She has been placed under house arrest for up to 72 hours.
