Charges have been brought against the three young men who were filmed attacking passers-by in the center of Sofia. They have been detained for up to 72 hours. The charge is under Art. 325, paragraph 2 - hooliganism with extreme audacity, the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office told bTV.
The video, which shows the boys covering their faces with T-shirts and beating two men, was filmed in the early hours of Friday.
Hours after the SDVR took action, the young men were identified thanks to recordings that show both the route and their faces.
Yesterday afternoon, the attackers were detained. They are 15, 16 and 18 years old.
The police reported that the adult boy had been arrested for theft in the past, and a report was filed against the 16-year-old for assaulting foreigners.
