A 19-year-old young man, who was driving the car involved in the accident, has been held criminally liable for causing the death of more than one person while driving a motor vehicle - a crime under Art. 343, para. 4 of the Criminal Code.

The serious accident occurred at around 01:30 on July 6, 2025 on a street in the town of Razgrad. Driving his father's car, 19-year-old N.D. lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the tables of a restaurant located off the road.
