Folk singer Deborah was arrested with a blood alcohol level of 3.14 after causing an accident in Pomorie, in which no one was injured. She was also arrested in Sofia some time ago - also for driving after drinking alcohol. The singer was sentenced to a suspended sentence of one year in prison with a 3-year probationary period.
Debora's car hit a car belonging to a Moldovan family. The singer's car also had her 6-year-old son, who was riding in the back seat.
„The boy was in a child safety seat. No one was injured in the accident. There was only material damage. At the scene, the patrol found the driver's blood alcohol concentration to be 3.14 . The drug test is negative”, Commissioner Marin Dimitrov, head of the "Security Police" at the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Burgas Regional Department, said on "Hello, Bulgaria" on Nova TV. According to him, the child has been handed over to relatives of his mother, who will take care of him.
He explained that the singer failed to control the car. She tried to overtake the car in front of her, lost control and hit the dividing barrier. The vehicle bounced and crashed into the Moldovan family's car.
