Yesterday's raids at the Energy Ministry, “Bulgargaz“, “Bulgartransgaz“ and the home of former Energy Minister Rosen Hristov, during whose term the contract was signed, came after a signal that there was an attempt to conceal documents related to the signing of the contract with the Turkish gas company.
Until now, they have not been provided to either the investigators or the parliament, which was also debating the deal.
According to information from bTV, 80,000 euros in cash were found in Hristov's home, and 100,000 leva in the home of the former head of the public gas supplier. The prosecutor's office did not confirm, but did not deny this information, and Hristov and Zlateva refused to comment.
