The Svilengrad District Court has set a bail of 6,000 leva each for the two people arrested for the illegal cigarette factory, BNT reported.
70-year-old Dimitar Perchemliev and his daughter-in-law Rositsa must post the bail within 10 days.
Prosecutor Milena Slavova said she would appeal the court's ruling. She said the investigation is at its very beginning and that more people are being sought, but did not specify how many.
The hearing is being held behind closed doors at the request of Rositsa Perchemlieva, who says there is a risk that intimate facts from her personal life will be revealed. The judge in the case did not let reporters hear her reasons for the detention order.
The detainees' lawyer, Georgi Zarchev, said he would not appeal.
