The District Court in Sliven has issued a ruling, which took a preventive measure of “detention in custody“ against a man for committing intentional murder. This is reported by the institution on its website.
The crime was committed on July 13 in Sliven in conditions of domestic violence.
The detainee is accused of intentionally killing the woman living with him in a family with particular cruelty.
The punishment provided by law is “deprivation of liberty“ from 15 to 20 years, “life imprisonment“ or “life imprisonment without parole“, the announcement says.
The measure was taken on July 17, and the court's ruling can be appealed and protested with a private complaint and private protest within three days from the date of the ruling before the Burgas Court of Appeal.
