A young man is in the intensive care unit of the Sliven hospital with serious injuries after being run over twice by a van. A neighbor of the victim has been detained for the crime, the BTA correspondent in Sliven reported. The incident dates back to August 14.
The man was hit by the car at around 10 p.m. on “Deli Radi“ Street in the “Dame Gruev” neighborhood. According to eyewitnesses, the car initially drove away, then returned and ran him over again.
The Sliven District Prosecutor's Office has opened pre-trial proceedings in the case.
