The Kardzhali District Prosecutor's Office has charged 70-year-old S. K. with the murder of a 51-year-old man in the Kardzhali village of Boyno. This was reported to the media by the prosecutor's office press center.
The man died after a scandal and a fight between the two on the night of August 17-18. During the police examination, in the presence of a forensic doctor, no external injuries were found on the body. It was transported for an autopsy to the Department of Forensic Medicine at the Kardzhali Hospital to determine the cause of death. In the work on the case, witnesses were questioned, a search was carried out and forensic medical examinations were ordered.
The accused was detained by a prosecutor's order for a period of 72 hours, the press center of the prosecutor's office informed. The pre-trial proceedings were initiated under texts from the Criminal Code - for intentional killing, the statutory penalty for which is from 10 to 20 years of imprisonment.
